Question Canon C4080 removing the finisher.

I never worked on this model before and would like to know if there is any special tricks to remove the finisher since the customer does not want it.
    any help will be apreciated.

    Thanks!

    -------------------

is a Puncher attached ?? hopefully not
if so u will need to remove it first--------------
    see PUNCHER install >>>>>>AH1 PUNCHER.pdf

make sure Printer is powered off/unplugged from outlet before removing finisher lower interface cable

-remove guide rail (middle >attached to caster rail mounting plate)
-remove caster rail mounting plate (attached to printer >lower frame)
-remove metal caster flat rails (if attached> they lay on floor )
-remove larch catch plate (on printer > latches finisher to printer)

see install guide to get the picture ---Finisher Install-W1 W2.pdf

This is one of ....if not THE only Model - IRC5185 Series, that will actually spit the copies/prints to the Inner Tray when the Finisher is disconnected without any other action undertaken, other Models require Sensor Flag and/or cover replacement (all of which are binned when the Bridging Unit was originally installed).
