pull out the LASERS and do a Manual adjustment to set their home position

make sure to do your FULL AUTO GRADATION for Printer/
then do the calibration for imagePass C2
do u have the Kodak Gray Scale or a Densitometer

    Calibrate the Fiery RIP.
Enter calibration mode on copier through Printer, Settings, Functions, calibration, enter Fiery.1 for the password and press OK.

If you do not have a densitometer choose the Standard Color Cal Measurement page method under set-up. Use a clean Gray Scale positioned in the top center of the letter size portrait area of the platen glass.
Press Calibrate and Yes to print the Measurement Page.
Place printed page over the Gray Scale and press Yes and then done to measure.
After successful measurement press Yes to overwrite and to it affecting all users.

-Print out a Test Page and Configuration Page. Under Printer, Print Pages, Test Page the Configuration. After verifying print quality place these with the COMPLETED Service Log attached to the machine.

This is such a common fault on this model. The transfer belt slips caused by leaking toner (usually from the black drum) all you’ll need to remove the transfer belt & clean the INSIDE of it & also clean the large rubber drive roller, make sure you clean both these items well., then do a DC CON CLEAR ONLY.
The machine will correct it’s self after either a full auto gradation or a long colour copy run, or as you are doing open & closing the left fuser draw.

that Large metal ITB cover causes a lot of CQ issues> especially streaks

I take them off & throw them in the Garbage----have thrown away hundreds
    leave small one on
but u need to connect other side of the varistor from small metal cover under leaf spring (because no screw hole available) ( not doing this will cause an error)

    Re: Canon C3220 Offset image

    update on c3200 offset.

with many of the checks and resets done we now have a smaller offset and lighter as well.

The c2 did not allow us to run calibration. would not read anything we put on the glass. I am getting the firmware to reload and try that again.

In scan/copy mode text quality it is non existent. In graphics mode offset present.
sending print jobs in text mode is very light but evident.

if your calibration page color block alignment is offset / printer will not calibrate

this goes for Printer Auto Cal & Fiery Cal

the ITB needs to be removed and inspected as well as the Lasers need to be aligned to their home position

got it. the copier is getting replaced with a loaner. Due to the lack of time in the office to do all checks and adj. we are looking forward to having it inshop. The customer has no patience as the existing service company has been at this for 2 months before we came in. to be continued
