    Push in fixing unit message

I am getting this message on two brand new units (not rebuilds)
Third new unit is working fine and so is the original unit. Anyone ever run across this?
I have a feeling there is a lose connector in the assembly somewhere, but I have not across any documentation on this problem so far.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

duh...IRC-5185 and I just ran into another one on an IRC-4580....different fixing assembly.

old ones read fine and a different new one reads fine as well.

check for a damaged/ front and rear cast metal door hooks. They may be slightly bent preventing the door from latching correctly.
if damaged >unit will miss-connect (to fixing internal drawer connector) & not sit correct / believe u can swap the left to right
    door hooks (FC6-8851-000)

when damaged>it sometimes looks closed> but it will actually drop a little to cause message

Friend reminded me on another issue>> a bent rail
there is a Canon pub on this/ will look for it----------------

It is possible that if the fixing/feeder unit is left open for an extended period it can bend the unit and therefore cause the assembly not to properly close when pushed in to the machine.

    Rail Front = FL2-4244-000
    Rail Rear = FL2-4243-000

I've noticed those big screws that hold the hooks loosen up over time.
