    Canon IRA 2020i drum end of service life

    Hello everyone, hope you are all well

    I have a query about the drums on these machines and would like to know what other peoples experience are running them. See the attached link;

    http://s1268.photobucket.com/user/va...tml?sort=3&o=0

    This drum was at about 110% according to its counter in service mode, I experience an excess of toner being laid onto the page when these get near 100%

    Can anyone comment on what their experience with these drums?

    Thanks as always for your time, I appreciate the advise I get

    our experiance is that these drums rarely last much past the 100% lifetime.

    and by that I mean the service mode > counter > LF (?) (cant remeber if thats the right handel of the top of head, but not the counter in durables)

    just double checked on a showroom box, the drum life is located where I pointed in the LF section of the counters.

    the counter in the Durable life isnt he true counter of the drum units.

    that being said, don't expect much of them, they make it within 70% and after that they can go from there to roughly 110%, highest we have seen one go has ben 120%. (just don't make them like they used to)
