Re: canon IRC3380i test print Help!!!!!

Are both Glass Copies and Prints washed out ? or just this PG 10 Print-

Be sure to check that the ITB Assembly is locked in and engaging correctly. Also check that the Developer Assemblies are locked into position.
The machine may not display any errors codes for either assembly even though they are not installed properly.

Try & Stop an image of a pg10 test print on the itb belt and & check if all the colors are there and have a solid density before transfer to paper

If u see a solid density on the ITB sheet-- Check the bias tab on the front side of the secondary transfer roller and the bias tab on the itb frame assembly.
If the bias tabs are in good shape and making good contact.
+ Check the secondary transfer roller rear bias contact /make sure it is not bent/ also inspect for cracks on it-
if cracked-- Secondary Transfer Roller Bias tab (FC6-9452-000)

    ------------------------------------------------------------
Check the Bias Tabs on the ITB Belt assembly and the Secondary Transfer Roller. They may be bent or broken and not making contact. Repair or replace the contact that is broken.

Verify that the contact is touching the bottom side of the shaft of the secondary transfer roller as shown in the photo below. If it is not reform the contact so that it is touching the shaft.

**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

Probably ITB is not engaging correctly.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

This is a good possibility if a tech or user has been inside the machine. The ITB can appear to be latched causing the poor transfer of images like you have posted. Just push down on the ITB cover to make sure it is latched all the way.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.
