Some advice

I am facing an issue on a CLC5151.

There is no error involved.

Most of the time it prints ok but sometimes it jams inside (0107).
Usually customer fixes this problem by releasing & re engaging the blue lever that engages the drums against the ITB.

From the sound of the machine I can tell that smth is not right (but it is a very subtle noise).

Nothing looks broken but I suspect smth will brake soon.

Customer says it used to happen rarely but it is becoming more often now.

Any advice...?

0107 is a fixing inlet jam. Check to see if the sensor flag has gotten lazy and work your way back. the CLC's are extremely finicky about having somewhat perfect conditions.

no it is not the sensor

when it happens it looks like a mechanical block. you could hear a bumping noise before jam.

well.....that's the life of a technician

you can try and check the gears on the fixing itself or those who drive the fixing, check the dents on them for unusual stress wearouts, sometimes they get a little worn off and they get stuck now and then until they break one or two and jam permanently, just an idea but...
