    IRA C5255 E102-101

    Hi all,

I can't seem to find my IRA 5255 SM

Can anyone tell me what the E102-101 means?

FYI I just installed a New DC-PCB on this machine, turned it on and got this error.

I have a C5051 SM, but there is no E102-101

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey guys!!

First of all I must be deslexic ( it is a 5051 ) LOL

As for the issue with the laser, I took out the ITB and Drums and removed the laser unit, double checked the cables and reconnected everything.
    Reinstalled laser, drums and ITB.

Powered it back on, no more E00102-0101, however I am still getting the original error I ordered the DC PCB for
    E001-003.

    ARRRRGH!!!!!

    E-001-003
Title High temperature error detected by hardware
Description Hardware detects abnormal high temperature of the
Thermistor (Main Thermistor 1: 264 deg C, Main Thermistor
    2: 265 deg C, Sub Thermistor 1, 2: 280 deg C) for 400 msec
    consecutively.
Remedy 1. If the detected temperature of the Thermistor is less than
the abnormal high temperature specified for Thermistor,
go through the following to clear the error: COPIER >
FUNCTION > CLEAR > ERR; and then turn OFF and then
    ON the power.
If it’s at abnormally high temperature, do not turn on the
power before replacing the Film Unit.
    2. Replace the Film Unit
    3. Replacement of the Shutter Unit
    4. Go through the following to check drive of FM5 and
    FM6: COPIER > FUNCTION > PART-CHK > FAN; if the not
    working properly, replace the fan.
    5. Replace the DC Controller PCB (UN1)
NOTE: After performing the above remedy work, go through
the following to clear the error: COPIER > FUNCTION >
    CLEAR > ERR

    Re: IRA C5255 E102-101

    Thanks Rhodg:

I already did all those things and that is why I ordered a new DC PCB,

I put the new (or supposedly new) PCB in and I am still getting the same error.

One thing about the PCB is that the BOX had (return to stock written on it), so not sure if it was new, or an older one
that was sent back because the new one didn't fix the original issue.

HMMM Anything else I can check to verify what the issue is with this??

    Thanks again for all help
