I got some old machines ir 2525. I can scan and copy A/4 size from platen,but from ADF only LTR size is sensed and not A/4 size. So please give some solution. I am from India and these machines are imported from USA.

I got some old machines ir 2525. I can scan and copy A/4 size from platen,but from ADF only LTR size is sensed and not A/4 size. So please give some solution. I am from India and these machines are imported from USA.
ADF pcb have paper salection SW. and cheak the service mode-feeder-function seet A4 size.
Go to Service Mode : *- 2 - 8 -* press > till display shows "CLEAR" OK, press > till display shows "TYPE" OK press > till display shows "ASIA" or "SG" OK.
The ADF will detect A4 and A3.

Thanks for reply , i already tried in service mode, changed country changed model size.There is no sw on ADF pcb. One more thing i noticed if i scan from ADF with network scangear A/4 size is scanned only problem in copier mode . If any other solution ,please reply.
the following needs to be set in service mode.
SCAN > SCAN SW > SW06 > Bit2 to 1

I am out of town as soon as come back and try these solutions, still thank you for your valuable advise .
Please, don't put service modes on forums, they are supposed to be used by technicians and not users, if you want to help someone send him an email an keep things under control.Originally Posted by spectraindo
