    Thumbs up IR2200 w/ E000003

Customer called this morning on IR2200 with E000003. I didn't get a sub-code. I know it's possible it will reset but I imagine there is a good chance of it coming back. Is this likely to be Fixing Film Unit problem where it needs to be replaced or can it be isolated to 1 part of unit that can be replaced if used unit(s) is available? Your help and suggestion are always greatly appreciated. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

Yes most likely the heating element inside the fixing film of the fixing assembly. Clear the error and check to see if there is any physical heat on the fuser...if there's no heat you can replace only the heater.
Sometimes if the film and/or the charging roller is/are really deteriorated you might want to change the complete unit.

    Good luck!
