    Thumbs up iRADVANCE 8000 / 8200 / 6000 / 6200 Series--Damaged Fixing Belt Handles

Cracked Fixing Unit Belt Handles on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8000 / 8200 / 6000 / 6200 Series machines.

The Belt Handle on the iR ADV 8000 / 8200 Fixing Unit and the Belt Handle on the iR ADV 6000 / 6200 Fixing Unit may become cracked at one of the mounting locations (Figure 2 / 3). This can ultimately break causing the Fixing Unit to fall to the floor.
When this symptom occurs, the Fixing Unit may become damaged along with possible personal injury

This happened to me about a week ago.

Fuser unit survived without too much damage, of course the plastic around the main connector was beat to snot.

Canon Canada haven't published anything like - thanks for the update.
