Canon IPF750 printing feint lines for everything

    Hi Fellow Techs,

please can someone tell me if they have had this before on a Canon IPF750, i get no errors, machine initializes with no problems, but no matter what i print,
whether it be a self test like a nozzle check or a drawing or even a test page i always get the same results, feint lines printed very slowly with no error.

Not sure if updating firmware will make a difference, will try, but am not holding my breath.....could it be the main controller??

please see attached image. its not the best pic but you get the idea...

any ideas will be much appreciated,

    thanks,
    SAZ911..........

I'd compare a nozzle 1 in service mode vs a nozzle check in user mode first - that'll pretty much tell you what kind of state your head is in.

    It does look main controller-ish.

I believe it was only the PF-05 head that had all the problems shorting boards.

    How old is this machine?
