"System Updates" are enabled through the RUI for the imagePASS or ColorPASS
1) Enter the IP ADDRESS of the imagePASS or ColorPASS into the address field of Internet Explorer or other web browser being used.
2) Click the [CONFIGURE] tab.
3) Click on [Launch Configure].
4) You will get a Login Screen. The default password is: Fiery.1
5) Click on [Server] in the left panel.
6) Click on [System Update] in the left panel.
7) Put a check mark next to [Enable System Update] in the right panel.
8) Select the Day and the time you would like the update to take place and hit APPLY.
9) Reboot the device to ensure the changes to take effect.

What exactly is your issue & on what SERVER MODEL
To access the copier's RUI through Web Tools: 1. Open a Web Browser and type in the IP address of the imagePASS to bring up the Fiery Web Tools.
2. Click Status in Web Tools.
3. Click the Remote UI button.
4. This will access the RUI for the connected copier.

Newer imagePASS Controllers, ColorPASS GX100, and imagePRESS Server Controllers:
On the newer imagePASS controllers, ColorPASS GX100, and imagePRESS Server controllers, there is a link to launch the RUI on the Home tab of the Web Tools.
If using the FACI Kit from the RIP/
To access the RUI from the FACI Kit:
1. Launch IE.
2. Enter 10.255.255.2 for the URL.
3. The RUI on the copier will then display successfully.

Language Switch Shortcut Key
How it is configured and how is it used
The Language Switch Shortcut, when enabled, is displayed next to the 'System Monitor' button on the device LCD screen as shown in the image below. It allows users to walk up to the device to quickly and easily switch the LCD display to their desired language. This shortcut can be useful if, for example, the device is located in a hotel's business center where people from all over the world want to access the device.
I. Configuring the Language Switch Shortcut Key
1. Go to Additional Functions / Common Settings / Language Switch and the following screen will appear:
2. Press ON
3. Select a default language
4. Select 'Display Shortcut Key' (when this option is selected the button will change from gray to teal in color)
5. Press OK
Using the Language Switch Shortcut Key
When a user wants to change the display language they have to click on the Shortcut Key, which will bring them to the 'Language Switch' screen.
From here they select the desired language by highlighting it from the list and press OK. This will return them to the copier main LCD screen where all buttons and text will be displayed in the selected language.
