I am attaching 2 pics.

I have superimposed the PG6 A3 size from a good machine and a PG6 from this machine (did the same for PG10).

If you notice the PG-6 from the problematic machine is shorter (or reduced) than the good one.

Magnification= image processing > by the Main Controller

Synchronization= in Sub Scanning Direction> is controlled by the DC Controller
==The DC controller generates the sub scanning sync signals (Y-TOP, M-TOP, C-TOP, Bk-TOP) of individual
colors based on the PTOP signal, and sends them to the Main Controller.

==When these signals arrive, the Main Controller generates video signals (VDO Y, VDO M, VDO C, VDO Bk) a specific period of time thereafter, and sends them to the DC controller. As a result, the laser drivers of individual colors go on to emit laser beams that scan the surface of the photosensitive drum starting at a specific point.

deal with the SUB SCAN issue first> Main Scan lines look like a minor blur

looks like Color Displacement Correction Control only take place for Main Scan slightly (DC PCB)

Seen this fault before, because you have swapped parts & done various CLEARs You will need to re-enter the settings because you have clearer DC COn & MN CONT
Do you have the P-PRINT from when the m/c was new? If so input all those settings that should fix it.

to Teckat : Yes I tried 3 different paper sources.

To Copier Tech: Yes I did print P-PRINT prior to clearing DC-CON and MN-CON
and yes I did put back values after each trial.

I plan to flash the whole thing up to see if that makes any difference.

The only issue is that I don't want to loose the SEND & PCL functionality.

It is a refurbished machine and I don't have the codes.

What is a safe way to export the license files to a location and than import them again ?

I would just overwrite the DCON, other firmware is a waste to reload


should have no effect on LMS ,
Have updated Firmware on LMS models with no effect on License.

I did flash the damn thing.

After some clears now the PG-6 is ok but PG-10 is still strange.

How can it be ?
