mmi clear that sucker and update to latest firmware before parts change. It seems to be seeing the keypresses so that tells me the control panel is ok.
Edit: Would try to run a thin piece of plastic around the edges to make sure there's nothing stuck, check for stuck keys too
I had a different model doing that and it was the control panel.
HI
What model did you have doing that ?
I hope to hear from you
I'm pointing at a system software/main con issue as it sees the keypresses, the ui lights up immediately. I would flash the device via CDS just to make sure, only takes 15-20 minutes
Hi,
The keypresses donīt work right, they are very slowly and it is nearly imposible to enter in service mode, I got it once...... turning on the machine and pressed at the same time key (2) and (8) with a pendrive connected, but I could not update because the last version was download three or four month ago and the machine skipped before writing again.
It was a big machine like a 8095 with the large screen on an arm. Sometimes it was slow and sometimes when you pushed on it twice it would react. Most of the time it was really slow and every once in a while it would react normal. Most of the time it was very hard to get into the service mode. Almost all of the canon touch screens I have that go bad you touch a few inches off to get the button to work and if you go to adjust it the adjustment is off the screen. I went to calibrate this one and the plus marks were off the screen also but it was really slow to react.
