    Canon IR1730IF Slow Fax Receiving

Hi Guys, I actually have 2 Canon IR1730IFs that are in 2 separate doctors offices that will say "receiving" but will either say that for way too long or print one then wait for long periods, then it will print another one and so forth....what is causing this delay?... seems extremely slow especially for a doctors office.
    Thank you
    Doug

    G3 or I-Fax

    file types ???

    Turn OFF "ECM"
    Condition of Telephone lines
    Any ERROR CODES IN HISTORY

Delete unwanted documents and documents with errors from memory to increase the amount of available memory.
memory can hold a total of approximately 1,000 pages for sending and receiving
    documents.

You can set the machine to automatically reduce the size of received documents so that the whole document is printed within the printable area of the paper.
    Press (Additional Functions) [Communications Settings]
[RX Settings] under <Common Settings>.>Press [Receive Reduction
    Select [On] or [Off].
    [On]: Reduces received documents.
[Off]: Does not reduce received documents

make sure RX ring count is not set to more than "2"

Additional Functions > Communication Settings > Fax Settings > RX Settings > RX Restriction > (make sure it's set "off")

can also be changed in RUI
