    Canon ir 5075N

    Dear all ,

    i have a canon ir5075N it always occurs E0001-0002 i changed all the thermisters and the sub thirmister and now its giving E0004-0000 can any one tell me how to solve this is theres any soultion for this !

    check the male and female connectors, sometimes there is paper fragments in them and can cause alot of errors, so when the unit is pushed in the connections dont connect very well. Also had the runners slightly bent so not connecting again. Check the settings on the service label to that of the machine, some other tech mite have increased/decreased temps, seen that before too.

    Unlock the green handle, pull out the unit with the fixing assy and transport belts etc on, on the 2 rails you have clips that allow you to extend it out a little further. If you look into the gap, roughly where the fixing assy would sit, you will see a male connector, 24 pins if i remember, and also on the back of the unit, where the fixing assy is there is the female connector, give them a clean. Paper fragments often get caught in the connectors and throw up error codes as the connection is dodgy.
