    hi

    i have E015-1031

    it isn't mentioned in service manual that i have (version 5)

    E015-1031. The subcode is not listed in the service manual.

    This error code is defined as an error in the Delivery Switch Motor (M31). The copier is also producing a jam code of 011E.

    Workaround :
    It was discovered that motor M55 was binding, causing the E015-1031, and jam code 011E. The issue was resolved by loosening the gear box, and re-tightening screws at jam removal knob D8 in the Reverse Assembly. The area of the work is shown below:

    Hey Teckcat!

    I wonder how binding way down at m55 could effect m31 up top at the delivery switch? I'm dealing with this right now in a 1110.

    My jam codes clearly indicated the paper was taking the wrong path from the diverter flap. Ie. trying to duplex a single sided sheet.

    My fix was replacing the entire flap assembly. Bad solenoid I guess.

    Didn't have to go near the bottom components as pictured... but will keep it in mind for the next time I see this.
