    iRC4080 rebooting on its own.

Hello everybody! we have an iRC4080 it has been printing normally, but this week after we turned it on normally, then after a few minutes its reboot on its own, I checked on it, but nothing looks out of place, except once that the fixing unit locks button pops out, I reseat it back, everything look fine. Any help will be appreciated.

    Remove memory>clean ends >reseat

    If issue wont'clear>

remove all accessories then, try reseating all connections, PCB's, and the memory DIMMs on the Main Controller PCB.

Also try swapping/replacing the memory DIMMs> if possible\
Hopefully it's not a Main Controller issue. :'(

i had a similar issue on a ir advc7265..it turned out to be the all night power supply.
canons use a 5vdc supply to the hvt's..if no 5vdc it reboots

Re: iRC4080 rebooting on its own.

Hello guys! I'm back, Sorry for taking long time.
well, I have cleaned all circuit boards, memories etc, but now the display got stuck on black screen with the loading system line but never get complete and never shows the ready display screen.
Somebody in the office told me that before this happened, electricity was unstable and the current stabilizer was making noise and then the iRC4080 start rebooting by its own.

    Any idea? HELP!!!

    Remove stablizer or surge protector,
Check the outlet for proper ground to natural =0v>0.5v max on this*
Also check hot to ground, & hot to neutral.

I have checked all that, now at the very start pops up this code error code E0602-0002. I think the system software is dead.
    I Appreciate suggestion.

Time for a new OEM HDD & a re_load of Firmware using SST.
    NOTE:
HDD must be formatted inside printer using SSTwith models format file, then run the ALL_HDF Firmware.
