    Re: Canon ira6055/75

i found all canon advanced series to be great....b&w and colour.

i have a few of the ira6075 in law offices...besides print shops law offices are high maintence clients but since we moves from minoltas to canon.
    very few calls.

the ir adv6075 does have a wierd fixing assembly setup, but if you fallow the service manual for repairs..all ok

just watch out for the ir adv c5000 series..e075 errors. but once you get that fixed..all ok.

    cheers

I have found that all of Canon's B&W Advance series to be pretty awesome overall.

Fixing assembly in the 6000/8000 was a pain when it first came out, had some issues, but that seems to be mostly resolved now!

Only things I regularly encounter are the fuser issues.

A few of those toner bottle issues and I have a waste toner pipe issues as well on one or two.

Otherwise they are pretty well problem free. They are in relatively low volume areas though!

Struggling with one since day one even after the recommended updates.
The Paper Deck causes intermittent 0105 jams and the Finisher has intermittent punching issues (updated the cover).

Pickup jamming from deck only --Install modified pre-reg roller or assembly
For intermittent- erratic punching, I have had to replace 2 punch units to fix it, after trying motors, sensors and controllers.

    Re: Canon ira6055/75

I searched for the info before posting but could not find it. I am sure the pre-reg roller is just a suffix change -010 or 020.
I had the punch issues long before they released the info about changing the covers.
The two I fixed still have the original covers

    also
    For 0104/0105/0208/0209
There is a new sensor holder FL3-9005 below the multi paper pickup assy.
Old sensor allows nicks in the plastic
    also
A damaged reg assembly causes 0105
You may see a couple bent pieces in the front and a white plastic tab out of place.
    FM4-5156-020 modified reg assy.

Take your pre-reg assembly out , You may find some scraps of paper stuck in the metal guide, causing paper to hit it intermittently and cause a jam.
