    Re: Canon ira6055/75

    Replaced the pre-reg assy - didn't solve the issue - 0105 from PD-A1 has been an issue since day 1. Machine works fine from Trays ... It looks like the PD is too low .... Btw, the punch update made things way worse and had to put the original one back.

    Try the other 2 solutions, they are officially provided for 0105.
    I do not remember the code for pre-reg jamming but your description sounded like it fit.
    I have had to change rollers and clutches on nearly new (advance) paper decks

    We have these problems :
    1. ETB Displacement.
    2. Jam 0112 and 0113
    3. Error E017-003, M19 seems not working sometimes.
    4. Error E001 when using Folio or Legal paper.

    Service manual defines 0113 jam code as a delay to PS36.

    Solution was to add an extra wrap to the spring for the flag for PS 35 which is just upstream from PS 36 when using the face down delivery method.
    The part # for the PS35 actuator is FL3-3868-000.

    Caution:
    If this solution does not fix the 0113 jam, it may cause a 0112 jam.
    If the 0112 jam occurs after adding an extra wrap it will be required to remove the extra wrap.

    ================================================== ===============================
    Jam Code 0112 and Paper is at PS35 ???
    Removing one wrap from the Inner Delivery Sensor (PS35) flag spring resolved the jams. The following image shows the location of PS35.

    ================================================== ============================================

    ----Replacing the broken Brake Pad resolved the service issue of error code E017-0003 from reoccurring.

    The part number for the Brake Pad is FC1-3976-000. Refer to the following illustration for location of the Brake Pads.

    Re: Canon ira6055/75

    E017-0003 is defined as an ETB home position error.

    M19, the Duplex Left Feed Motor is used to engage and disengage the ETB assembly.
    Check for 24 volts to the duplex feed driver at J310, pin 1.
    This voltage comes from the relay PCB at J517 pin1. If the 24 volts is not present at J517, pin1 the Relay PCB may need to be replaced.
    The part number for the relay PCB is FM4-1086-000.
    ================================================== ============

    "Engagement of the ETB was not completed at initilization." Upon power on, there was no movement of the ETB, and several seconds later the image RUNNER ADVANCE would code out with the E017-0003.
    There was no movement of M19 (Duplex Feed Left Motor) which is responsible for the ETB's engagement & disengagement. Verified all DC voltage at J310 is present to the Duplex Driver PCB 4.

    In this case of the E017-0003 error, it was found that FU303 on the Duplex Driver PCB4 was open.

    Replacement of the Duplex Driver PCB4 resolved the E017-0003 code.
