Error code E004-0101 on iR ADV C7055.

    Here I am again!
I have this problem: I changed the upper fixing assy and the lower fixing assy in a iR ADV C 7055.
After some hours, the customer recalls because the machine shows on display E 004-0101 ! ! !

    What could have happened?
    I cleaned everything thoroughly, connectors, I've re-inserted correctly ...

    Has it ever happened?

Check your lamp in the lower fixing belt assembly

They get frail and crack. I have had this happen a dozen times.

Other than that - check the connector on the rear of the fixing tray (left side) to see if it's making good contact at the back. I've had to install some washers onto the connector mount to make a better connection.

    Cheers

Also look for the lamp cable rubbing against the upper roller.
There is a new moduot for that,

If all else fails replace the connector block on the fixing base assembly, that onlyinnewfoundland told you to check

E004-0101: Triac short in Halogen heater was detected

    1. Check the connection of the halogen heater (to see if the cable is disconnected or the connector is physically removed) -> connect the connector or replace the heater
    2. Faulty halogen heater (to see if there is crack or the connector is disconnected) -> replace the heater
    3. Check the pressure thermoswitch (TP2) (to see if it is disconnected) -> replace the pressure stay or the pressure belt unit

    Good evening !
In effect the heater lamp wire was partially ruined.

By changing the lamp, I solved it!
