empted the waste toner bottle
inspected the waste toner feed-screw switch and worm gear mechanism
cleared the WTC counter
Tried to clear the error under Function
E013-0001 it's still there!!
How do you fix this problem please?
Thanks in advance!

Did you check the connection of the Waste Toner Lock Detection Switch (SW5) and the Main Driver PCB (PCB2)?
Switch side: J3050, PCB side: J103
That's suggested in the SM ....
Not sure how you inspected the switch, but it has to be OPEN to get rid of the code.
Toner backs up, the feedscrew contracts, tripping the switch closed.
The toner tube between the switch and waste container needs to be cleaned out, then you will hear a click , when the mechanism releases and the switch is not closed anymore.
I understand all that and cleaned the entire system, manually rotated the worm gear to release the arm of the microswitch, it can be done by rotating the dev motor too; it clicks each time the microswitch arm is released.. what i don't understand is that the moment the machine is turned on for some reasons the worm gear rotates automatically back and pushes the microswitch arm, it's like that's the home position. I fixed it by replacing the waste toner black tube together with the feedscrew but haven't inspected yet what exactly is the problem, but it sure looks mechanical issue.
Hello,
This issue can be caused by :
1- An electrical problem:
a- The Microswitch being always on even when it is not activated.
b- The DC controller.
c- A short circuit in the wiring.
2- A mechanical problem:
The toner feed screw is contracting, for a reason, and activating the microswitch.

Your feed screw must have been tangled.
You probably would have had to rotate the motor or worm gear many more times to uncoil the ffeedscrew

If you read my post i fixed it by replacing the feed screw mechanism. Don't have the part number handy but it has been updated. Vacuuming and releasing the feed screw didn't help ....
the screw conveyor is warped and due to this reason blocked and trigger the switch. Maybe you can unwarp the conveyor, oterwise you need a new one.
