Re: Canon IR2200 taking too long to warm Up?
Have you timed the warming up when the church is heated ? i.e. shutdow the printer for a hour and powering it up again. If the church is heated, it shouldn't take the same time as in an cold church if that is the issue....

Re: Canon IR2200 taking too long to warm Up?
To be honest room temperature won't affect the machine warm up time by much, a few seconds at most.
On newer colour machines they have a humidity sensor, the machine will detect a temperature change & will rotate the drums & ITB longer to clear any condensation, however this old 2200 series doesn't have that sensor.

Nevertheless I'd try to replace the heater unit.

These heater units either work or they don't. Also they are no longer available from Canon!

Over 2 minutes to warm up....I don't think so....machine would error as stated. Slow booting up obviously. Reseat boot rom and RAM,re-install system software. A 2200? Hard drive probably crapping out

Poster still hasn't answered if it's in boot up for that time period. 2:35 would definitely error out.

Re: Canon IR2200 taking too long to warm Up?
The funny thing is that it comes "ready" and boots up....I think I am going to just upgrade them!
Thank you for all the replies.
