Excessive waste toner/grey edges
Hello, I have a Canon IR5020 that is filling up the waste toner bottle after 30-40K copies, leading to an E013 code. The Pre-trans corona was removed before problem started, PT is not the cause. On test prints(eliminating optics) I am getting very light grey toner on the erase area, both on the lead and trail edge, and toner is visible on the side of a large stack. The drum has around 2 million on it. I am going to try a different Primary corona and possibly laser to see if the grey goes away thinking this could be the reason for both problems. Any other thoughts would be appreciated. Thank You

Why did you remove the pre transfer corona? Did you leave it out, this might be why you have this copy q issue!?

Re: Excessive waste toner/grey edges
Thanks for responses,I found a previous rep had turned off the potential control sensor for light copies, this eventually led to too much toner usage. Turned potential control back on and ran the DPC program to get a better solid.
