    Re: IR5065

I updated to the latest version but I don't remember if there was an ADF upgrade in there. I know there was rcon. I'll stop by and check. I can change the setting but when I exit that page and go back it's at 0 again. I would think that 0 would disable it but it doesn't seem to. I probably have another issue with whatever detects the dust or dirt but I would think I could disable the feature.

It only seems to do it when the CIS needs to read both sides of the original such as 2-2 and 2-1. Any other thoughts?
Did you add a spring in the back, as I mentioned before ...

I don't have an E202 problem anymore. It's now just sensing a dirty scanner glass inside DF. Glass is now moving fine.

Sorry, have to ask, have disabled the message from the Setting/Registration?

This is an IR5065. It has additional functions mode. Settings/Registration is on Advance series. Nothing under additional functions that will disable this

How about an RCON clear after making sure you have the values to input again,

Did anyone clean the CIS glass?
I would remove, inspect, clean CIS
and replace it, if that did not work.

Is there a spring mod for IR ?
I only know of one for Advance feeders

setting is enabled when combining with the following versions: RCON v3.01 (or later) + ADF v4.01 (or later).

    System v56.01.01 V3

    RCON=v6.01 [iR5055/5065/5075]

DADF-S1 /BW_DFR1 /v5.01 (Controller) DL Tool is required (service tool (downloader PCB: FY9-2034) is needed.

That's the version we installed. Everything installed fine. I think it has to do with whatever reads the glass for dust. Gonna have to look at the manual for a change. Not an urgency as cust rarely does 2 sided but still want to fix it. We'll get it eventually.

Dust Detection in Stream Reading Mode
Printer uses the dust detection control mechanism to check for dust on the platen glass and the ADF platen
    roller
    .

Memory PCB = data delivery between main controller and reader contoler/ADF

has connection to ADF>, Reader Pcb>,& Main Pcb
