I have multiple LC3170s with sticking paperfed solenoids. Can anyone tell me either the best way to disassemble for cleaning off the glue, or better yet, a way to do it without disassembly?

No way way to do it without disassembly.
Why do you think that you have sticky solenoids? Wich solenoid is defected?

Practice makes perfect
If it ain't broke, don't fix it
A picture is worth a thousand words
If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself
tray2 paperfeed solenoid. It's the same old thing: noise dampening pad deteriorates and becomes glue, causing the actuator plate to stick to the magnet. Seen it alot, just hoping for an easy way to clean, or best way to disassemble for access.
