the limited function is related to the finisher not the feeder
this message can be deleted in user mode ,common setting,function limited off
the other message says the feeder need to be checked requires the filter glass should be cleaned

thanks for your response but extacly what the massage appear on the copier is (Ready to copy functions limited ) the feeder is currently unavailable and at the down of the screen the below massage (the feeder needs to be checked.(caLL SERVICE REP)

If you press the Settings Registration button there should be an error code come up which might help troubleshooting what is wrong.

A defective scanner unit in the DF will cause that limited function
