canon irc 5185 jam code 0107 paper is stuck in transfer belt.

At a loss hoping someone has seen this. Jamming on all pages intermittently. Code is 0107 no paper at ps25 fuser entrance. I have a blank paper that is looks as if it is clung to the transfer belt by static charge because it is "taken up" by the transfer belt. Have cleaned machiene and contacts. Has any one else run into this?

Last time u changed ITB CLEANING BLADE_?
How old is Fix Unit_?\ Condition of it's,Preasure Belt

Have u removed ITB to inspect_

found that the ITB was not moving and cleaning blade was flipping stopping the belt. I replaced the cleaning blade with new blade made some good copies however the new blade flipped also.
1. have not used starting powder previously for this replacement of the ITB cleaning blade is that needed?
2. questioning the lift mechanics of the itb not reaching correct height allowing blade to flip??

lower belt on fuser is good 60,000 approx on it

Never see a flip blade on this series.


Did u replace just the blade_? or entire cleaner holder_?
Make sure it's sitting correct.
New blades usually are pre coated.

iRC3880 series uses power on blade.=
lubricant is TKN-0480-000

How old is ITB sheet_?

I found this

Have the ITB in the shop found small slice in the belt and marks from the blade flip on the belt after that mark leading to a full stop of the ITB
Will install new belt and back tomorrow. I will let you know how it turns out.

I did install a new ITB cleaning blade with entire cleaner holder oem Canon

It turns out it was the small cut in the itb. As the blade would clean it would push in to the cut and the belt would flip the blade stopping the belt. Assuming the static build up from the belt not moving pulling paper to the belt.
