    UPGRADING Canon IR105

    Hi

I would like to ask about if there are any modifications to be applied on Canon IR105 to improve it's production and efficiency,
because I hear some ppl said that in China their technicians' do some modifications to it.

Any news that you hear about this topic?

    regards.

    Dear Dedode

What do you mean of upgrading the IR105?

Do you mean to make its speed faster?

I mean, by doing some modifications in the inside parts, we will get rid of the common problems and repairs that we always do on this machine, and get rid of the mistakes that done by manufacturer.

    Regards.

Apart from firmware upgrades is it worth the trouble? The IR series have been superseded by the newer iRADV series machines, and are now archived as obsolete machines.....at least by the manufactures. I believe the modifications you are yearning for has already been done by their design engineers in the Research & Development department, and incorporated into the newer iR-ADV equivalent of the iR105.

I also think that any 'manufacturing modifications' is exclusive right of canon as the patent owner.

Thanks DAG COPIERS & COMPUTERS for your post.

I don't think so that 'manufacturing modifications' is exclusive right of canon as the patent owner after selling,
but your point of view is good.

    Regards.
