Broken stapler power supply cable FM2-5734-000

Solution :
 Replace cable
After replacement move stapler by hand to ensure cable moves freely and doesn't snag. ?????
The following symptoms may occur when the Stapler Unit shifts to the rear Staple Position: a. Positional displacement of Staple on the rear side or faulty stapling. b. Noise at the shift of the Staple Assembly. c. E57A-8001 error (fault in Paper Edge Area Sensor or Paper Edge Stopper Shift Motor). Cause In Staple Mode, the Staple Assembly Cable [1] connected to the Stapler is supposed to shift in a state like [A] when the Stapler Unit shifts to the Staple Position on the rear side. However, the Staple Assembly Cable may shift in a state like [B], touching the Stapler Cable Holder [2] and thus interfering the edge [3] of the Stapler Cable Holder in some cases. Repeating this interference may make the staple incapable of shifting to the specified position on the rear side, with the meshed tube of the Staple Assembly Cable stuck with the edge of the Stapler Cable Holder in the worst case.

Thank you so much Teckat.
Much appreciated.

Hello Teckat.
Problem turned out to be stapler unit itself.
During stapling- staples were getting jammed. hence ripping the paper hindering stapler assembly going back.
removed jammed staples- worked for a while (50 sets or so) same problem. swapped unit from other machine works like a charm 1500 sets and still going.
I guess the stapler unit needs an overhaul.
Thanks
