Good Luck! A lot of people would like this. After 29 years I have not seen a copier do perfect with really thick paper or gloss for that matter. With texture paper it is not easy to press the toner into the texture (heavy or thick settings work best). I work on a lot of the advanced color series and they do as good as the 4580 does. But check out the paper specs and buy the paper from Canon if available.

The advance PRO series is much better than the previous models. Exp. 9060 / 9070 PRO series.

I have been testing these machines and 300 gsm (when properly maintained) is a breeze.

Quality is much better than the previous models (when properly maintained and calibrated).

    Re: Canon heavy dutymachine

Aha i heard that honestly the pro is much better but its still expensive currently, but i want to know if the irca5035 can handle like irc4580,and drum life and toner yeild is much better than ir4580/5180 also about the quality .

any suggestions i will be thankfull, because i thinking to turn my old ir4580 to advance 5035 thinking its much saver ,but as i saw irc5035 didnt take texture as the ir4580/5180.

Texture causes pockets that do not charge properly during secondary transfer...mottled image. Trial and error. C9070 or get a Xerox that over-saturates everything
