    Pitney Bowes DI600 Document Inserter

    Hi everyone,

I've got a customer with a DI600 that seems to have it's main motor disabled, POSSIBLY due to an interlock switch playing up. It doesn't detail which door is open. I've tried opening them all, and no notifications come up. Tried turning it off and on.

I can press start, which asks for a trial piece, but then if I press trial piece nothing happens.

The envelope tray doesn't raise or lower. In fact, it was halfway up when I got to site.

    Any ideas?

I've rang Pitney Bowes, and the guy I spoke to believes an interlock switch is faulty. Just wondering if this is common and whether anyone has some ideas to add?

    Cheers.

    Phrag,
    Common fault,
take a multi-meter check that there is continuity on all interlocks,
    When Switch is open:
yellow and white wire should have continuity,
black and blue wire should have no continuity,

    When switch is closed:
yellow and white should have no continuity,
black and blue wire should have continuity,

    regards,
