    Rena dryer/conveyor

    Hello all,

Is anyone else here as lucky as I am to be thrust into the world of mailing systems and inserters after 25 years of copiers?
I have a DRYK2 (dryer) mounted on a CNV6FLR (6 foot conveyor)....I have a parts guide, but no service manual. I'm trying to find out if there is a recommended run time for these units in unison. The heater appears to be drawing too steady of a high current for too long. The fuse never blows, but the switch has melted down, the fuse holder has melted down, and the wiring harness is melting the coating off of itself. The conveyor works fine for long periods on its own, but as soon as the heater is introduced we have problems. My power is good at my location, and my customer is knowledgeable.....and, fortunately for me, patient.

    Thanks for the look.

For all those who took a look I appreciate the time and effort.....we got resolution.....the equipment has been deemed unsafe, and it is being replaced.
