    Automatic counter collection

Hi we need software for automatic counter collection. The program we're looking for should be a small aplication that will be installed on user's computer or client's server. We neeed it too find all mfps/printer on the given network, check its counter and send them through email on a schedule.

I know more advanced solutions like minolta PSES or xeroc Centerweb, but we need something really small.

    Does anyone know such program?

There's a number of similar products out there that will do what you want.

    Here's an example

printmibuk looks like a cloud ased solution - we don't need that. We got our own CRM that will import data from emails.

We use PrintTracker and it will do what you want. Pretty good pricing as it is based on the amount of machines it monitors. Local install of software on a server or PC with software on your end to admin it. It can also track and report supply and maintenance status with adjustable levels. It will go out and sniff the network for connected equipment at setup and alert you when a new device is installed. There is also a way to monitor USB devices.

We only use PrintTracker in a few locations as most of our equipment sends meters automatically.

I hope that by "small", you don't mean "free".
