Scan to USB Hard drive?

Does anyone know how to or if its possible to scan using SMB from a Konica Bizhub series copier to a hard drive that is attached to a workstation via usb?
The customer is in an all Mac environment as well. I tried setting it up but I'm not sure exactly about the path as the error message I was getting was "No specified folder."

Is it 10.5? Sounds like you have all the rights correct all you need to do is point it to the folder ( users\home\scans) if you already have WFS and SMB enable on the mac you can search from the bizhub and added to the one-touch.

Sorry, only printing is allowed via USB.
Put it on a network via peer to peer.
Maker sure appletalk is enabled.

I'm pretty sure you can't share USB drive over the network. I've tried to share my Western Digital 500gig USB drive and access files on my modded Xbox with no success.

I believe that only the local hard drive is allowed not mapped shared or usb that is for the pc and I think for the mac since it is smb'd from the controller and not the computer.
