InsTALL TWO PRINTERS ONE BLACK and ONE COLOR
Or install a Kyocera Mono driver for the black printer

Re: Server 2011 settings not sticking

I initially left it using the 520i driver, but it was printing in color.
I'm changing it on the server & locking it under the admin tab to B&W, but it reverts back to color.
Hopefully the reboot took care of it.
    Hope that helps !

Old kyocera drivers and new drivers don't play well together

Have them remove the old kyocera drivers using the driver removal tool
You may also have to do it at each workstation

I know in Windows 7 Pro that there is a "Print Management" program which allows you to go in and right click on print drivers and select "driver isolation"....you may be having some weird interaction between old and new print drivers...you might want to check!
