Kyocera Scan to Folder Problem- Please Help

    Hi Guys,
Newbie here, please go easy on me.
I am trying to setup the scan feature of a Kyocera-KM 1650 on a Win10 64bit PC. I know it's a very old machine but that's the only A3 printer/scanner I have access to at the moment.
I have installed the "Address Editor" and the "Scanner File Utility", I am able to find the scanner with the Address Editor to change the Scan TO PC settings but the "Scanner File Utility" is not able to find the scanner. Both Address Editor and Scanner File Utility are included in the windows firewall exception list. The machine in attached to the modem with one Ethernet cable only and I am not intending to use the printer at the moment only scanner.
Can you guys please give me your thoughts about what I could be doing wrong ?
Thanks for your help in advance.
    Cheers
    Kian

you must use the lastest version of the scanner file utility to work with windows 10
you host , if that fails try the hard ip address of pc
make sure that any antivirus allows scan to file and ip address of copier to pass
