Can someone please shed some light as to what is needed to print from an Ipad to a Ricoh color system?
Which series are capable?
What is needed as far as options (if necessary)?
Thanks

AirPrint is on by default, (Printer SP 1001-012) all you need is to install the Ricoh Print & Scan app (free) then simply add the Ricoh from the device tab. Note the ipad needs to be on the same network as the copier.

You can print directly to models with the Version 2 Smart Operation Panel. Once properly setup, one can use NFC, low power WiFi direct and Bluetooth. Also requires the proper Ricoh Connector and Ricoh Print&Scan apps. Links to app on Google Play and iPhone App Store and information on Ricoh Smart Device Connector can be found here: https://www.ricoh.com/software/connector/
Thanks for the info. I read somewhere that if the MFP was capable you did not need an app. That is why I was confused.
Downloaded the smart device connector to my phone, set it up...WOW this is so cool. I can use this to sell more machines.
Thanks for the link, the video is very informative.
For those that are Airprint compatible, the only app you need is airprint. It also has to be enabled on the MFP and you need to be connected to the local network. Airprint will give you a list of the available printers. Airprint is your driver.
For older MFPs, you need Ricoh Print&Scan app, be on the local network with the MFP and know the IP address of the MFP. Print&Scan app is the driver.
