Customer said it use to work is this a problem with SMB 1.0 Windows update

If I am understanding you correctly, there are a few things you can do on the PC end.
1) Go to Add/Remove Programs -> Windows Features -> Enable SMBv1/CIFS (If it is indeed an SMB v1 issue)
2) Make sue that the Windows 10 sees the Local Network as Private. You can do this by going to settings (hotkey: Win+I) -> Networks -> Wifi or LAN (whichever kind the client is using) -> select the network (IE Ethernet 1 or OfficeWifi-12) -> select the Private button.

I've found, also, that certain Firewalls can block the SMB transmission if the client has recently updated network security. Norton and Malware bytes are ones off tha top my head that recall the defaults messing with scans.
