Remote support software, Whats best and cost effective?

    Hi all,

I am looking into remote support software that allows us to log in to remote users, has the ability to transfer files to customers pcs for setting up printers, scanning etc. I have used logmein rescue before and found it very good, although its an expensive option. What do you guys use and what could you recommend?

I have seen some potential candidates such as Splashtop and another called Anydesk

    Any suggestions?
Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

I use Anydesk for now, been using Ammy before, but browsers started treating it as suspicious software...

Do you use the free version or the paid for version of Anydesk?

Hi all, we use LogMe In123 and Team Viewer. TeamViewer is cheaper but LogMeIn is more stable. The cost for 5 license is around 30 a month with unlimited support..

The free version - I do one or two remote assistances per week, so doesn't justify a paid license...

I have just been testing some remote support solutions and anydesk seems ok (esp for free for the odd remote session) The only problem i had with anydesk was when tried to log into the mac in our office, but most of my customers are windows.

Radmin is decent, but it's not the cheapest.

Primarily I find myself using Teamviewer though.
Mainly due to that is what customers are already using.

We use Teamviewer, and 99% of the time, there are no issues.

The latest version, 13, also allows for screen sharing on iOS devices (iPad, iPhone) that are running iOS 11.x.

You can't control iOS devices, but that's an Apple thing. They won't allow it.

Android, on the other hand, can be both monitored and controlled from the PC. Very cool.

I too use Teamviewer everyday at least 5 times a day. I think there was only once or maybe twice that I could not get it to work. And yes, I use my Android phone when stuck on the road. Not the easiest way to do it but at least I can still remote into customers computers.
