Ricoh mp c3001 office365 scan to email

    Dear All,
I have a machine Ricoh MP C3001, am Trying to configure scan to email using Office365 settings, its pinging and authetication also fine, but still am getting a message TRANSMISSION FAILED.
Am confused now weather this machine is supporting TLS or not. what is the reason for transmission failed. Firmware is latest.
Let me know if anybody have solution for this.
    Thanks

I think the model is too old.

It will do SSL on 465, but not TLS on 587.

There are numerous documents online for setting up scan to email. Google "non TLS email for Office 365"

The customer's IT will need to configure an SMTP relay to allow port 25 (without TLS) through Office365:

Create an SMTP relay in O365 to allow a Unitrends appliance (or other device) to send email without TLS - Spiceworks

If your device is too old to support TLS you can check to see of there is an MX record for the company online:

    MX Toolbox

If an MX record is present, just use the returned record name as your SMTP server on port 25. Authenticate as usual. Office 360 seems picky regarding authentication:

Enter the full email address in both email and user fields, enter the password for that account and also use that email address under the administrator email, especially when using auto sender setting.
