Ricoh mp3002 mac issiue
i pick up a copier and prints out fine with windows but when i print from mac you can see data light come on but nothing prints out. user code is not turn on copier. its prints fine with windows but not mac.

You need to make sure the copier actually has the PostScript CHIP installed. Go into User Tools/Counter>Printer, and see if you have an index tab labelled "PS". If you don't see that, you don't have PostScript installed.
When installing the PS printer drivers on Macs, you need to run the installer package first, then go into Apple>System Prefs>Printers, and add the device. The method that's always worked for me is one...
Choose IP Printer....
Enter the IPv4 address
Select Line Printer Daemon
Queue is "lp" (no quotes)
Name is whatever you like
Select Printer Software, and browse for the make/model of the machine.
Once that's done, go into CUPS using your browser and typing localhost:631, and use it to configure default options,

If you do not have the PS3 SD card install, you should be able to set it up as a generic PCL printer, depending on the version of OS X. Only drawback is on most OS X it only prints B/W.
