    Windows 7 machines

Anybody have a work around for the latest Microsoft update that has taken out SMB to a folder on the desktop of Windows 7 machines? Just started happening around here.
None of the old fixes are working. Getting "Server connect errors", and "forward TX errors" on Konica Minolta machines.
    Thanks

To my opinion is Scan-FTP the solution. Never ever have any scan problems with my customers.

Quick 'n Easy FTP Server Lite
+ Static IP-Adresses for the workstation with the scan target.

There is new update from M$ KB4487345 to cope with this issue.

The issue with the two Microsoft patches isn't so much an SMB issue as it is an authentication issue.

Make sure that you're connecting to shares on the MFP using the actual hostname as opposed to IP address, and if you're using a local account to authenticate to the share, make sure it doesn't have administrator rights on the server/computer hosting the share.

So far, we've seen this issue with a few workgroup based customers, but our domain customers have been spared.

Here's the link to the update to fix the issue: Microsoft Update Catalog
