“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim Hawkins
it depends on what the salesman means by "edit" on the KM MFPs you have "Preview" where you can rotate or remove pages, but that's about it
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...
Answer is YES.
However we really do need to define the word "edit" a little more clearly.
Sharp's will scan a doc.....while using the preview feature you can see the document before time of send or copy.
At this point on the panel of the machine you can reorder the document, rotate pages, delete pages and add a blank page.
So yes you can edit document from the panal, the question is how is the customer interpeting the word "EDIT"

Thanks Gang...
You've definitely reinforced my thoughts on the matter.
The way the customer was interpreting "Edit" was to be able to change the actual text of the document after scanning... but before it was sent to the PC. If for example an agent put a signature on the wrong line....they could just erase it, and re-sign it on the correct one. Or someone put a wrong number in a box, well they could just change it.
I'll forward this thread to my boss...and they can do with it what they will.
Muchas Gracias!!
