Good luck, I think you need Postscript and need to know what you are doing to load driver/PPD.

Postscript is an OPTIONAL add on for ricoh products!!! YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT!!!....unless you can find a ghostscript PCL emulator/ filter!!! Good Luck!!!

WTF is a Scanwer?

You would setup scan to folder, or scan to email.
Scan to folder is the same as a windows setup. Linux uses samba, you may have to install it.

A little late to the party here, but go to openprinting.org and get the pxlcolor-ricoh driver. This should do the trick for you.
