    DI 650

    I have a DI 650
    The machine is installed with a print a internal print controller
    The costumer has a domain with Network solutions
    I installed the copier as a network printer and works fine…..
    I installed the scan to email (HDD installed – using web tools) I set up the
    Mail server the user name password and everything…
    When I try to scan the document the copier shows the “complete job massage”
    But no email is been received.
    I‘ve setting up 3510’s 3010’s 470’s 550’s
    And no problem….. usually if there is a error the machine will give show it….
    Any dip swicht I need to set up???
    The email assigned to this machine has a user name and password

    If I am right, then you have a Pi6500e which is the internal Fiery print controller.

    If this is the case, have a look at the Job Log in the Fiery. The machine reports that it is successful because it successfully handed the scan to the Fiery to handle. The Fiery may have not been able to transmit the email though.

    Also make sure that your mail server allows SMTP Relaying and if you are running a White List, add the Fiery IP Address to the list.

    That model did not do SMTP Authhentication. If they are using that you may need to do scanning a different way. That would be either scanning to the Fiery's HDD using a Mailbox or scan to FTP and running an FTP service on the customers computer or server.
