QFT. It's unlikely to be updated anytime in the future, either. They stopped including it in the utility discs, and are pushing us to stop using it and use SMB instead.

Actually, they recently (about 3 months ago) released new scanning training for technicians. In their training course they push FTP because it is the simplest to get going -vs- all the problems a tech can run into with SMB.

The world use to be simple- fix the copier. Now it is fix the copier, network it, and solve the customer's print, scan, connectivity issues.

Windows7 is also suffering from the " :\ becomes :¥ " problem and will not work, as Vista, with the KonicaMinolta FTP-Utility.

Found in the mean time a very good and simple alternative. This
freeware is doing to same and even better cause it has a log where you can see what happens.

Though SMB scanning might be the future because of its simplicity I still believe Scan to FTP has its advantages too.
