Driver not applying finishing options

I have a nashuatec machine complete with relevent finisher for stapling. The queue uses PCL6 and is has been created on a server which is in turn, been shared and added by various clients (xp).

for one user, when selecting staple and duplex finishing options, the commands are not actioned withing the print job... i can confirm this as i have printed to .prn and opened the file and both PJL commands for staple and duplex =OFF.

Other people using the same queue do not report the same issue. I have used the kyo print driver removal tool to clear the driver completely (in case corrupt) and re-added but the problem still occurs.

The only other thing i can think of is that other printers installed may be sharing a corrupt .dll and i will need to remove all of the printers/dll/reg entries...

Has anyone experienced this problem before and know of the solution?

Just an idea.

I would try installing the driver locally on a PC that is experiencing the issue. When it asks to replace the driver say yes and then test to see iff all is o.k. I have experienced something similar with the PS driver on the client side, I had to remove old Xerox PS driver and then add our driver. If possible try the PCL5 driver as an alternative.
