Follow you printing

Hi,
I heard about this software "Follow you printing"
In one company have 8 printers, and when I print one document, he is queued, and if I go to one of the machines, anyone I can print them out.
Someone know some program to do that?

The two brands I work on both have add-on software to do just that. They are not freebies, though.

equitrac is by far the best for this, but it does not come cheap

http://www.equitrac.com/

Safecom can also do what you are after and will be cheaper

Just heard about a new printing option called 'Hot spot' printing. Don't have any real details. Only that I think it is intended to allow wireless guest account printing for mobile clients.

Copitrak - Document Retrieval

Copitrak's (Control Systems) document Retrieval can easily do this (www.copitrak.com). There is a desktop component that is easily distributed and works with thier copier data capture terminals.

I agree with Colonica Equitrac is by far the best product I have used for follow me printing, and with that only being a small part of its features it can be very helpful in providing a managed print service for your customers. And hopefully giving you some "lock-in" to the account. I wouldn't recommed anything else
