Kyocera KM-1650 Scanner (Cannot find destination PC)

    Hi All,

We are trying to connect a Kyocera scanner to our clients on the network but for some Windows Firewall is blocking the scans. What ports need to be open for the clients to accept the scans?

Can anyone please provide me with the Windows XP sp3 firewall rules...

I am sure it is the firewall as if we disable it everything works fine!

Look forward to hearing from you!

37100 is the port the SFU, you can just apply the application with permissions through the firewall not just the port. With a standard install to the C drive the path for the application that needs to be added as an exeption in the firewall would be C:\Program Files\Kyocera\FileUtility\NsCatCom.exe
